Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-09-27

Intelleco (“we”, “us”) respects the confidentiality of your personal information. This policy explains what we collect through intelleco.ca, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Person responsible for the protection of personal information

Under Quebec’s Law 25, we have designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information:

Nick Katharios, Owner
Email: info@intelleco.ca
Telephone: (514) 781-9262

You may contact this person about anything in this policy, to exercise any of the rights below, or to make a complaint.

What we collect, and why

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, project type and message you provide, and your telephone number if you choose to give it. We use this only to answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to carry out the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.

When you simply visit the site, our web host records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working, and for nothing else.

We do not collect payment information, government identifiers, or any sensitive personal information through this website.

Cookies, tracking and third parties

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and uses no analytics service. Cookies are set only if you log in to the site’s administration area, which is limited to Intelleco staff.

The site loads nothing from third-party servers. Its typefaces are served from intelleco.ca rather than from an outside font service, so simply reading a page discloses your visit to no one but us and our host.

If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy and request your consent first, with tracking off by default.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless a longer period is required to carry out work you have engaged us for or to meet a legal obligation.

Who else sees it

Your information is handled by Intelleco personnel who need it to answer you. We also rely on service providers who necessarily process it on our behalf:

  • our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its database;
  • our email provider, which delivers messages sent from the contact form.

Some of this information may be stored or processed outside Quebec by these providers. Where that is the case, Law 25 requires us to assess the privacy implications before the information is communicated, and we do so.

We do not otherwise disclose your personal information, except where required by law.

How we protect it

We use HTTPS encryption across the entire site, restrict administrative access to authorised personnel, and keep the website and its components up to date. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.

If a confidentiality incident occurs that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information as required by law, and record it in our incident register.

Your rights

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous.
  • Withdraw your consent to our use of it.
  • Have it deleted where the law permits.
  • Receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format.
  • Be informed of the reasoning behind any decision based exclusively on automated processing. We do not currently make any such decisions.

To exercise any of these, contact the person named above. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with:

  • Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec — cai.gouv.qc.ca
  • Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada — priv.gc.ca

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change, and any significant change will be signalled on the site.
